Kenzie and Kaylani's Trip To Alaska

Well, of course there were a lot of events leading up to our plane rides over here, including weekend trip to the Seattle/Tacoma area to dropy car off to have it shipped to Fairbanks which I'll only briefly mention. The drive over to Tacoma was boring and difficult to stay awake because Kyla drove over in her own car so that she could give me a ride back at the end of the weekend. We dropped my car off at what appeared to be a place humans aren't supposed to access, but once we found the office to leave my keys at it was easy and efficient. We then drove to Seattle to meet up with Kyla's dad and spent the weekend doing things that can only be done in Seattle - Pikes Place, the Space Needle, etc. After the weekend was over and we went back to Spokane it was pretty much a countdown to leaving filled with packing, goodbyes, and just a few tears.
Once we go on the plane, Kaylani was so excited to be up in the air. She did so well - much better than I thought she would do! We got to the Seattle airport and didn't have a whole lot of time before we were boarding our second (nearly 4 hour) flight straight to Fairbanks. Once again, Kaylani did so well on the flight! We landed and Elson met us with the car. The luggage took a while to get and load into the car (we brought 6 suitcases and a carseat) but we made it! We went from there straight to our new house to unload and do some unpacking! We ordered pizza and took Kaylani to the park and spent the night together in blissful happiness!
